Gradient Camera turns what you see into a gradient. Your camera frames stay on your phone. We do not have accounts, we do not show ads, and we do not track you.

What stays on your phone

Gradient reads the live camera to find the colours in front of you. It does this on your phone. The frames never leave it, and we never receive them.

The gradients and moments you make are saved inside the app, on your phone. We cannot see them.

Camera and Photos

Gradient asks for the camera so it can show you the live gradient. If you say no, the app cannot work.

Gradient asks to add pictures to your Photos only when you press Save to Photos. It can add to your library. It cannot read, list or change the photos you already have.

Purchases

You pay through Apple. Apple handles your card and your receipts. We never see your payment details, your name or your Apple account. Apple tells the app only whether you have Pro.

Invites

When you invite a friend or join with an invite, Gradient uses iCloud, which is Apple’s service, to count it. We store an invite code and a number. We do not store your name, your email or your contacts.

A small private counter

We count a few simple actions, for example how many gradients are shared and how many trials start. The counter has no name, no email and no device ID attached. It does not follow you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share it.

This website

This website has no cookies, no ads and no analytics. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs for a short time, which can include your IP address. We use the logs only to keep the site running and safe.

Children

Gradient Camera is not made for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your choices

Because we hold almost no data about you, there is almost nothing to delete. To remove your gradients and moments, delete the app. To remove what you saved to Photos, delete it in Photos. To ask about anything else, write to us. We will answer within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this page, we will change the date at the top. If a change affects what we collect, we will tell you in the app before it starts.
